On April 17, 1990 the world was introduced to a unique soul by the name of Chase Heinze. He was raised in a quiet household with his mother and father as well as his brother. He grew up in a small family consisting of less than 10 people in his immediate family. However his passion for music rooted from his earlier childhood as he was caught singing numerous times by fellow peers. Throughout his middle school years he was exposed to an abundance of Oldies and R&B because of his mothers taste for music. At age 9 his mother and father divorced and Chase stayed with his mother until the age of 18 when he was kicked out of his home to then start his journey of growing up to become a man.
Throughout Elementary and High School Chase's brother "Shaun" was in and out of Jail and the Penitentiary. Shaun lived a life of an average fatherless young man from the streets of Santa Ana. Though he lived a life of struggle and adversity he had a tremendous impact on Chase's life, he taught him how to be street smart as well as learning the true value of respect as well as other essential qualities a young man must have growing up as they did. That later transpired into Chase's music as all of Chase's music stems from from personal experiences he can relate to or has gone through in his life.
Throughout High School Chase developed a love for money, he started work at the young age of 16 he was often seen taking busses to work as well as working on various side projects developed to make money under the table. when Chase was 13 years old he picked all the avocados off of his tree they had planted in his backyard and went to sell them in his neighborhood for profit. this became a routine thing for him as he later coined the nickname "Chase Money" from various people.
Chase started writing poetry at the age of 13, it is believed he took on the passion for writing from his mother who also wrote poetry all her life. At the age of 18 he then began recording his vocals on a beginner program called "Garageband" where he then later upgraded to more sophisticated equipment to later develop his sound into a more professional quality level. Some musical influences that Chase listened to growing up are that of "Al Green", "Marvin Gaye", "Stevie Wonder", "Michael Jackson", "Avant", "Ginuwine", "Usher", "Tank", & "Ne-Yo", as well as many others. The style that Chase has created rooted from all the above listed artist as well as some newer artist of today's generation mixed in with his own natural instinctive flow for music. Chase writes all of his own music along with engineering and mastering his own material as well.
The mission Chase is on with his music career is to set an example for small town kids growing up in a tough area to see that anyone can pursue a dream no matter how far fetched it may be. With hard work and dedication the dream can be achieved. In the beginning of his music career Chase faced a lot ofdoubters and negative feedback, but that only pushed him to strive to get better and to prove people wrong about his music. As of right now Chase has a great supporting cast around him as he single handedly changed the opinions of people to where now the same ones who doubted him in the beginning are the same ones who are now rooting for him to achieve his dream goal of becoming a unique, successful, and inspiring modern day R&B artist.
